About Elderhaus
Helping You Remain At Home With Supportive Care
Elderhaus is a non-profit provider of PACE services sponsored by EveryAge, a Newton, NC-based, not-for-profit ministry offering senior housing and services for over 50 years.
For adults 55 years of age and older, Elderhaus PACE presents an alternative to nursing home care. Elderhaus promotes safe independent living in the community and quality of life. Our skilled team of interdisciplinary health professionals provide support in the home, community, and day center.
We all want the best care for the people we love, but maintaining that care may require navigation of a complex and sometimes exhausting health care system.
PACE is a different kind of care. Thanks to 120 facilities nationwide, families enrolled in the PACE program find they don’t have to compromise comfort for quality care. A coordinated team of health professionals will work with you, implementing a treatment plan to ensure your optimal health and ability to remain at home.
With a focus on preventative care, PACE professionals complete frequent checkups, dietary and weight monitoring, and regular reassessment of a participant’s needs. The PACE team interacts on every level, from our transportation department to our Medical Director, to ensure changes in a participant’s condition are met with the action and attention they require.
Elderhaus participants are approved to participate in Medicare and Medicaid. Elderhaus is located at 1380 N. College Road, Wilmington, NC.

What is PACE?
PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a comprehensive health care program designed to address the desires of elders who wish to remain in their community while receiving needed medical and supportive services. PACE offers a continuum of care to seniors with chronic care needs while encouraging independence in their own homes for as long as possible.
This model of health care has been in existence for over 35 years throughout the United States. The program focuses on prevention and wellness with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors and their families through care and support.
Elderhaus’ Vision
Elderhaus serves frail seniors who live in New Hanover and eastern Brunswick counties. Elderhaus empowers participants to remain in their homes by providing comprehensive medical, preventative, and social services. The program aims to enhance the quality of life of its participants, offer peace of mind to caregivers, and take on the burden of coordinating needed medical and supportive services.
“Elderhaus PACE has always been great to my Nana. Both of her case workers have been awesome!”
